Artlantis Render
Hi my name is Michael.
I recently upgraded to the new version of Artlantis Studio 2. I really like the new global illumination tools!
Here is a Chief Architect X1 car from the free add on library, that I rendered in Artlantis Studio 2.
I did a 3ds import, added the new Artlantis infinite terrain, some trees and bushes, and a couple material adjustments.
This is the result.

Michael,
Very nice Realistic render.
Have you been using Artlantis long? Is there a big learning curve? I am very interested in getting into producing realistic 3-D renders and find that Chief and Pov-Ray (V3.7 Beta) are not getting the job done.
I will be downloading the trial version of Artlantis and give that a try.
Good Blog-Talking rendering is an excellent idea!

Hi Tammy,
Thank you for the compliment. I have been using Artlantis off & on for about 2 years. I started with Artlantis R and it was good but, I really like the new features of Artlantis Studio 2!
Also I upgraded to Chief Architect X1 as soon as I found out that it had the 3ds export capability. Before I had to reapply all the textures which took a while to accomplish. It was still worth it because of the fast render times.

So Artlantis Render works in Chief? I know my co-worker uses the Pov-Ray engine that ships with Chief.
Thanks,
